Cefiwell (Cefixime) is a broad spectrum third generation oral
cephalosporin antibiotic. It is bactericidal and stable to hydrolysis
by many beta-lactamases. Cefiwell kills bacteria by interfering
to the synthesis of bacterial cell wall Cefiwell is highly active
against Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Haemophilus influenzae,
Moraxella catarrhalis including beta-lactamase producers, most
of the Enterobacteriaceae, beta haemolytic Streptococcus
(group A & B) and Streptococcus pneumonia. Cefiwell is more
active than other oral cepholosporins against Escherichia coli,
Klebsiella spp, Proteus mirabilis and Serratia marcescens.
Cefiwell is also active against Streptococcus pyogenes &
40-50% of an oral dose is absorbed from gastrointestinal tract
whether taken with meals or not. The plasma half life is usually
about 3 to 4 hours and may be prolonged when there is renal
impairment. About 65% is bound to plasma protein. Cefiwell is
mainly excreted unchanged through bile and urine.

Starclav 500 tablet: Each film coated tablet contains Cefuroxime Axetil
USP equivalent to Cefuroxime 500 mg and diluted Potassium
Clavulanate BP equivalent to Clavulanic Acid 125 mg.

INDICATION

Pharyngitis /Tonsillitis caused by Streptococcus pyogenes
Acute bacteral otitis media caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae,
Haemophilus influenzae (including beta lactamase-producing strains),
Moraxella Catarrhalis (including beta-lactamase-producing strains) or
Streptococcus pyogenes
Acute bacterial maxilary sinusitis caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae
or Haemophilas influenzae (non beta lactamase-producing strains only)
Lower respiratory tract infections including pneumoniae, caused by
Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae (including beta
lactamase-producing strains) Klebsiella spp., Staphylococcus aureus
(penicilinase and non-penicilinase producing strains), Streptococcus
pyogenes, Escherichia coli
Acute bacterial exacerbations of chronic bronchitis and secondary
bacterial infections of acute bronchitis caused by Streptococcus
pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae (beta-lactamase negative
strains) or Haemophilus parainfiuenzae (beta-lactamase negative
strains)
Skin and Skin-Structure Infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus
(penicilinase and non-penicilinase producing strains), Streptococcus
pyogenes. Escherichia coli, Klebsiella spp. and Enterobacter spp.
Urinary tract Infections caused by Escherichia coli or Klebsella
pneumoniae
Bone and Joint Infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus
(penicilinase and non-penicilinase producing strains)
Gonorrhea: Uncomplicated and disseminated gonococcal infections
due to Neisseria gonorrhoeae (penicilinase and non-penicilinase
producing strains) in both males and females
Early Lyme disease (enthema migrans) caused by Borrelia burgdorferi
Septicemia caused by Staphylococcus aureus (penicllinase and
non-penicillinase producing strains), Streptococcus pneumoniae,
Escherichia coli, Haemophilus influenzae (including ampicillin-resistant
strains), and Klebsiella spp.
Meningitis caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus
influenzae (Including ampicillin-resistant strains), Neisseria meningitis
and Staphylococcus aureus (penicilinase and non-penicillinase
producing strains)
Switch therapy (Injectable to oral) after surgery when patients
condition is improved.

Cefiwell 200 Capsule: Each capsule contains Cefixime
Trihydrate BP equivalent to Cefixime 200 mg.

INDICATION

Upper and lower respiratory tract infections, Urinary tract
infections, Gonococcal urethritis, Acute otitis media, Skin & soft
tissue infection.

Ketowell is indicated for the short-term
management of moderate to severe acute
post-operative pain. It may also be used to
decrease eye inflammation or redness
caused by seasonal allergies

Bilgate is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of
Allergic rhino-conjunctivitis (seasonal and perennial) and urticaria. (Itchy skin & rashes)
Bilastine is also used to relieve the symptoms of high fever (sneezing, itchy, runny, blocked-nose and red and watery eyes)
and other forms of allergic rhinitis
